What is meant by diamond size?

The size of a diamond should not be confused with its carat weight. The physical size is specified by its length and width measurements in millimetres. You could have two diamonds with the same carat weight with one appearing larger in size if it is cut with a larger table. Broader diamonds with larger millimetre measurements would create a greater visual impact.
